We have been in India the past couple of days with our entire squad of 45 people and we all have had team changes. For about 2 weeks I have saturated this with prayer so I would have no doubt in my mind that the team I would be placed with was God's will.

While I'm super sad to be leaving my old team- (Shout out to team fire starters woot woot) I am excited to let you all know I am now on a team with all GIRLS!!!!!

For the past week or so I felt God was telling me that I would be placed on a team with just ladies and yesterday it was confirmed. At first, I was a bit apprehensive. But, as I sat and listened to God's voice I just started getting so pumped about where He is taking me and each person on this team.

When I think of this new team (we still have to come up with a team name) here are the words that come to mind and where I see the Lord taking us.

                 Intimacy

                                Freedom

                                               Arise

                                                         Beauty

                                                                        Love

                                                                                         Gifts

I hear the Lord saying we will find new intimacy with Him. He is going to open our eyes to know what intimacy with Him really is. Our team will find freedom from things that we didn't even realize were holding us back. We will arise from our past. Our definition of beauty is going to be redefined. We will come to know agape love. To have a greater love for God, for others, and for ourselves. We will realize that there is power inside of us that we didn't know we had. We will grow in the gifts we have and new gifts will be revealed!

As I was sitting chatting with God He gave me this verse for our team that is so appropriate.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”

 Isaiah 43:18-19

For 3 months I was with my last team and we became like family. However, I truly believe that our team reached our peak and it's now time to move on and into this next season without looking back.

Our first night together our entire squad had a volleyball tournament. Here are a few pictures of my new team. We were told to have team outfits so we decided to put on our bathing suits over our clothes…. Yeah bad idea in India. We were so excited we just came running out not thinking how conservative they are here. Needless to say we were asked remove our bathing suits! I can already tell that with us girls there will never be a dull moment! Enjoy these ridiculous photos.

Rachel, Staci, Olivia, Me, Brooke, and Corinna I LOVE these girls!!!

It's time for our squad to say goodbye to India and helloooooo to Nepal! Tomorrow we are all traveling by bus 24 hours to this cooler climate! Yipee!  Please say a prayer for our travels and my new family 🙂
