Passion & Vision pt. 2

“When you hear the blast of the trumpet, rush to whever it is. Then our God will fight for us.” Nehemiah 4:20

I have heard the blast of the trumpet. The blast of the trumpet is sounding over the house of “Jubilee”. The sound of the trumpet is sounding over the villages in Bucharest. The blast of the trumpet is sounding over “Casa Shalom”. God is fighting for these people..I am fighting for these people. I will not stay still I will get up and run to where these people are.

This month a team of seven girls are working with a home called “Jubilee”. It is a home that houses 30 women among the ages of 26-30, who have been abandoned and who have mental disabilities. Many of the women have these disabilities due to being orphaned as babies and never having any one hold them or show them what love is. They are grown women but many of them have the mentality of a young girl. We hear the trumpet blast and we are ready to fight for these women. We are ready to show them unconditional love. We are ready to pour life into them. We are rushing towards them.

Our team and two other teams that are with us this month are also visiting gypsy villages in Bucharest. The people living in these villages are very poor. Many of them have ten people living in a house that is only big enough for maybe two people. We go and sing with them, do skits for them, and share with them. We are encouraging the children to go to school and become educated to stop the vicious cycle. We give them food, clothing, and back pack with school supplies. The trumpet has blasted we are ready to fight for these people. We are ready to show them unconditional love. We are ready to pour life into them. We are rushing towards them.

All three teams are staying at at a home called “Casa Shalom”. It has been a huge blessing in our lives at this point on the race. The home was once an orphanage but the government is trying to implement parents to step up as parents, so the children had to be returned to their parents ( many children living in orphanages have parents…they just are not able to take care of the children). Four of the children at the home remained though. Michaila, Easter, Maria, and David. Who are all among the ages of 13-18. Their parents are not able to take care of them the way that they deserve. The trumpet has blasted we are ready to fight for these people. We are ready to show them unconditional love. We are ready to pour life into them. We are rushing towards them.

Through all of these people placed in my life. God has been revealing to me even more then before how for my life… I hear the trumpet blast for young girls. My ears are ringing. He is using the women at Jubilee, the girls in the villages, and the three girls who are living with us at Casa Shalom. These women that I have met over the last week…run through my head constantly. I love them..I don’t even know them well and I love them. My heart breaks for them. These women need to feel the love of their Savior of their Creator of their Father. They need to know that they are of worth. They need to know they are beautiful. They need to know that God is fighting relentlessly for them.

I can not ignore the sound anymore. I can not stand still I need to sprint towards the sound of the trumpet.
