APROX: 20 HRS LATER AND WE HAVE ARRIVED TO OUR LAUNCH LOCATION
I am here after much anticipation and months of support raising. We left on Jan 3rd and arrived on Jan 5th, we did not actually get to live Jan 4th 🙂 we skipped right over it. We are now at our launch location and we are camping on the grounds of a YWAM location in Mata Mata New Zealand. It still has not set in that I am actually doing this I am officially on the race. I am safe and sound and I was able to set my tent up in less than 5 mins, so things are going great :). It is very sunny here, all of the locals keep saying it is hotter here because we are located under a hole in the ozone layer, so you can be out for 15 mins in the sun and get sunburnt ( I thought they were just saying that but nope I am a little red after only 15 mins in the sun) We will be here till Saturday and these next few days are what they call “Launch” they will be doing a few more things to prepare us for the up and coming year. We still have not been informed on our next location; all we know is somewhere in New Zealand ha ha and we have not been informed on what our exact ministry will be this month, I believe we will be finding out tonight or tomorrow. I am very anxious to find out though, I have been trying to get it out of my team leader, Danny, but he is not giving in. I will just have to be patient :). I am extremly excited to be reunited with my team mates, we already had a bonding time in my tent! Thank
