“I believe so I SPOKE”
Words: speech or talk, to express ones emotions, consisting of one or more spoken sounds, functions as a principle carrier of meaning.
Speak: to communicate vocally
I bet you do not even remember the first time you talked. I know that I don’t! It is something that just happened one day from observing the people around you talking, listening to their words and watching their mouths move. What if you saw everyone around you move their mouths and you heard words coming from their mouths, but you could not do that. No matter how hard you tried to communicate ,the words just did not come out.
This month I have fallen in love with a little boy, Morion, he has the most precious face and just loves to hold your hand and smile. He is five years old and has never spoken a word in his life. He cannot communicate with any one that is around him with words. As I was playing with him I was also thinking about a little boy we met in the Philippines, Arvin, who has never spoken a day in his life.
Can you imagine never being able to speak, never being able to communicate in words what you are thinking and what you are feeling. We take advantage and loose sight of the power of words and speech. Words are how we express our emotions. Imagine for a minute not being able to do that. Imagine not being able to communicate. I cannot even begin to imagine what that would feel like, and I thank God that I do not have to.But the fact that I can speak comes with a responsibility. You have a responsibility because you can speak. We our God’s mouthpieces.
