As of May 14, I will be heading off for the next year of my life!
To say the least, these next few months are going to be crazy.
I will be heading off to my new job as a camp counselor at Camp Eagle!
Right after, I will be heading off for The World Race!!!!!!!!
Camp seems kind of nerve racking because I have never been “in charge” of kids before..
BUT I pray that these kids I will be ministering too will understand why we hold camps
and big crazy events, because God loves them.
While at camp, I will not have access to internet or be able to talk to people outside of
camp as often as needed.
This means, It will be very hard to fund raise.
Unfortunately, I am still quit a ways from my first fundraising goal of $5,000.
I need about $3,000 to reach that first goal!!
It CAN be done, I just need some fellow Christians to come alongside and commit to
helping out financially.
This has been an extremely humbling experience, having to “ask” for financial help,
BUT I know that once fully funded, people will be brought to the Lord,
and souls will be saved.
The World Race is a great opportunity not only for me,
but for those we will come in contact with.
Those we come in contact with will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and
know that their is a God in heaven.
