3 days and I’ll be in the USA!
Here are 3 items I started the race with (brand new) that have served me well, and will soon go into retirement.
- My Chacos. Lord knows these poor things have seen it all. From city streets to who-knows-what is on the ground. Not to mention a 12 hour hike on a Volcano, with every other hiking excursion we had on our adventures.
PS: They smell worse than they look.
2.My Airporter: AKA bag that covers my actual bag in order to protect it from all the hits, rips and “ew-what-is-that?” On travel days.
3. My adapter. This is a bit of a metaphor, as the purpose of this object is to convert voltages and prongs to useable measures. So as you can see this adapter has seen better days, as it is now a bit worse for wear. But hey! It still works.
