So, after we had carefully weighed all the options, and told God all of our plans, He told us His plans. About 45minutes outside of Gaborone, Botswana where we had spent a night in a motel, we received a phone call. I had forgotten our team money wallet back in our room meaning our already 9 hour drive now just gained 1.5hours. As we turned around and began heading back, Matt burst out from the backseat.
“Okay! Okay! I have something to tell you guys.”
We all turned our attention to him and turned off the radio.
“Last night I was woken up three times and all I could think about each time was Namibia. I think we are supposed to go there.”
Silence.
“Well,” I said, “let’s pray.”

After a few minutes I spoke up. “I am not irresponsible with our money. This is the first time I have left it anywhere. We have now told God our plans three times and each time He has changed them. I feel that this is His way of getting us on the right road and I, too, agree we should go to Namibia.”
More silence followed as I could hear my teammates thinking about the hippo park that “welcomes musicians” and Victoria Falls. Mostly because I was thinking about the same things.
“Some lines need to be drawn between what we want and what our purpose is on this trip.” I said.
After a quick discussion, we checked the map, got the money, and headed off to Namibia.
