We were able to take one of our days off to climb the statue of Christ of Peace. It’s over 100 feet high and is similar to the one in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. The name of the one in Brazil is called Cristo Redentor – Christ the Redeemer. The one in Brazil is about 130 feet high.
The lift up was fun and the gondola fit 6 people. The ride up and down cost less than $1.

Jesus is 33 meters high – one for each year of his life. The holes are the ones you can look out of as you ascend inside. You can only climb to as high as his chest.
