As many of you know I have been accepted into the G42 Leadership Academy! Below I have attached a copy of my support letter that explains in more detail what G42 is and how you can be apart of this journey with me. I would really appreciate it if you would take the time to read it 🙂 Thank you again for all the love, support, and prayers y’all have provided me during these last couple of years. It has not gone unnoticed and I am truly so grateful to have friends and family in my life like y’all.
Also I have attached a link to a video I made that shows more of my heart on why I am moving to Spain to attend G42. I know the video is so long but the questions I answer in the video are things people have continuously asked me and I just wanted put it all out there. I do share a bit about what the World Race was for the people who are new in my life. So if you already know that then feel free to skip it! I wrote the questions on the bottom of the screen to make it easier. I know this thing is long but I would love if you would take the time to watch it. Dear Family & Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well! I am writing with some exciting news.. As you remember, two years ago God called me to serve as a missionary with Adventures in Missions (AIM) in the World Race program. I was committed for 11 months to be a voice for the Lord to many nations as I traveled around the world by serving and giving hope to those who have little. I learned so much during that time: working with different ministries, living in community, and traveling the world. Those 11 months challenged me and changed who I am forever. After returning home from the World Race last year, I quickly discovered my next journey with the Lord and moved to San Antonio. I walked along side a wonderful family, Jacque and David Goodale, in a time of crisis as a live in nanny for their four children. Unfortunately the husband/father (David) fell ill and was battling a brain illness for one year resulting in his passing in late December. Through every hardship they faced they always looked to the Lord for their strength. The Lord taught me so much during my time there, about resilience, faith, and dependance.
This October, I will be attending G42 Leadership Academy in Spain. G42 is a network of Christ-followers with the mission to plant churches, businesses, & ministries to spread the Kingdom of God around the world-to inspire and develop leaders who are passionate about giving their lives to the Message of Christ. I will be interning for 9 months to be discipled, equipped and trained, while living in authentic community all while discovering even more who I am in Christ and using that freedom to impact the world for Christ’s glory. During those 9 months, we will dive into important topics through “practical classroom teachings such as business, art and leadership and through biblical/spiritual lessons (Church, Grace, community) etc.” We will also be encouraged to branch out into the local community to partner with existing ministries or even start our own. Another important element of G42 is their emphasis on authentic community. I will be living with a small group of interns putting into action the things that I am learning in class.
I have been prayerfully considering G42 and seeking godly counsel since January and I feel confirmed that the Lord has something to teach me there. Some things I hope to gain from G42 are a better sense of direction of how to use these passions, gifts, and dreams that the Lord has given me and use them for ministry. I believe the Lord told me that this year was going to be about breakthrough and transformation and it completely has. He has shown me things in my life that need to change and is continuing to transform me into the woman he intended me to be and my relationship with Him. He’s working on this new testimony that I know will be used to glorify Him.
I write this letter to thank you for supporting me on my last journey. Because of you, I was able to serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. Your donations and prayers went so much further than just those 11 months: the impact for His kingdom continues on.
Prayer and financial support are necessary for my next journey. I am grateful for this opportunity that God has given me and know that He will provide for my needs, In order for me to embark on this journey God has called me to, I will raise $9,800. This covers all coursework, room & board, food, and books. It does not cover travel costs (to/from school and weekend trips), international insurance, and personal expense. I am currently working to cover most of these costs, but with October right around the corner, I still need your help.
