After 20 hours of total plane travel, completely skipping Tuesday, Septmber 14, and spending time in LA and Hong Kong, I made it to the Philippines!! Needless to say, by the time we got here we were exhausted! Unfortunately it was 11:00 am in the Philippines so we had another day ahead of us before we could sleep.
For the rest of the week, we are staying at a missionary family’s compound in Manila that is housing all 80 plus of us! But we all have beds and the food is delicious. Its a little gated community so we are kind of being spoiled. After we got in yesterday they took us on an “adventure” to pass the time before we could go to sleep. We ended up riding in a little jeep taxi type thing for 2 hours to a waterfall and got to swim around in it for awhile! That was beautiful and fun and helped to further wear us out. Went to bed at 7 and woke up today at 6:00 so that brings me to now….I guess it all begins today 🙂
