So my month in Malaysia has come to an end. It was such a different experience there than the Philippines and it just goes to show that you could be doing anything on the World Race πŸ™‚

To recap, we worked at a homeless drop-in center and volunteered at hospital along with a bunch of other random things along the way. At the hopsital, we did have the opportunity to walk around with the chaplain and pray with patients and that was a really great experience for all of us. The other half of the day we did some fundraising for a program at the hospital that gives 50 underprivileged kids a free heart transplant. With that we also stuffed and repaired heart-shaped piggy bank tins…thrilling work, but it was for a good cause I suppose πŸ™‚ We were shown some great hospitality and met some really cool people. Overall we had a fun month eating deicious food and getting to know the people and even moreso, ourselves.

I just got into Bangkok, Thailand and will be here for this week spending some time with our whole squad. At the end of the week, my team is heading to Chiang Mai, a city in northern Thailand, where we will be based for the rest of the month. We aren’t quite sure what our ministry will look like but we know we will be staying in villagers’ homes. That should be a fun, new experience! I’ll keep you updated whenever we find out more info. I am really excited for this next leg of the trip and my team and I are so appreciative of all of your prayers. Love you guys!
