Wow, a lot has happened over the last couple of weeks

We had an awesome Christmas with an amazing Chinese family, they welcomed us into their home on Christmas Eve and fed us some amazing food.  We had a dance party in their living room with them, and we taught them the Two Step.  We were apart of a Christmas program Christmas day where we were able to sing Christmas Carols, do a skit, and see people come to know Christ. It was so hard to leave Malaysia and all of the people we had the opportunity to minister to and with.

I am now in Cambodia where we had our four month debrief and had an awesome time spending time with God, our squad mates, our coaches, and our squad leaders.  We spent our New Years in Phnom Penh and were able to have an "authentic Cambodian New Years," which consisted of going to the river front in Phnom Penh, walking around hanging out with friends, having a dance party that literally stopped traffic and drew a crowd, and watching the seconds count down and be the only ones in all of Cambodia screaming and being excited celebrating the New Year.  It was a great New Year that I will never forget.

After debrief we began our Womanstry month were I was asked to be a team leader for the girls on my team.  We are now in a small village about 1 1/2 hours outside of Phnom Penh teaching English in a school started by a former Tuk Tuk driver who wants to be able to teach English to anyone who wants to learn and wants to share God's love with everyone.  Our contact, Vuthy, started this school on his parents property to be able to fulfill this desire and has been blessed in so many ways to be able to make this happen, and with that blessing he has been able to bless so many people. Along with the English school he has started an orphanage for children from other villages that want to come and learn English but that live too far away.  He also has a church that he runs on the property where he has been able to share God's love with his students and many more children in the village. He still has a dream of being able to go to University and become a nurse so that he can start a clinic here at the school.

I have already been so blessed just by being able to hear Vuthy's story and by being able to help him further this calling God has given him.  I am so excited to see what all God has in store for me this month and what else God is going to do through Vuthy.
