Vulnerability with Strangers turns into Encouragement
I’ve never been the one to have deep vulnerable conversations and somehow God has led me to have some in Africa!
This month specifically in Botswana, I have had multiple while working at the cafe in Kumakwane. Working at the cafe provided so many opportunities to share Jesus and have deep vulnerable conversations with people in the village. With my new sister in Christ Lexi, I shared how Jesus changed my life and how He constantly calls me beloved. Even when we fall into sin the Lord will always call us beloved and lead us with love and gentleness. Through the blood of Jesus there is hope, life, forgiveness and grace that abounds with everlasting love. With my conversation with Lexi, the Lord led every word and even led her to say words she’s never told anyone. I was amazed that she would tell a stranger. So cool how the Lord leads conversations. She walks with the Lord and is dearly loved as anyone else and she is and will forever be a child of God. Her heart desires nothing more than to please the father above and trust Him with all her heart.
it is so cool to see the Lord answer prayers and lead His children. Lexi and I shared similar struggles and wow the Lord knew we would meet each other and encourage one another. The Lord places us in situations at the right time and place.
Praise God!
