What a great opportunity to trust the Lord for funding and trip needs. The past few weeks have been very busy with work, personal things and traveling to places to share about The World Race. Sometimes I want to take things into my own hands, such as changing the date of my departure because I feel like the Lord won’t provide or I am limiting what the Lord can do. Noticing that I’ve been doing this shows that I need more dependence and trust in the Lord. The increase in the amount I have to fundraise compared to past summers is also just a small amount of God’s riches and what He’s capable of. Our God is so big and He is more capable of doing anything we can think of or imagine. Our God is a God who provides.
So, please join me in prayer as we need to see our dependence and need for the Lord to lead the whole process towards the trip and during the trip.
