A Miracle Can Happen Now!

Do you know that we carry power? Do you also know that we too have the same abilities as those in the Bible?

If you didn’t know, we sure do!

Let me tell you a story:

During fellowship with some sweet friends and my team, we had a night led by the Holy Spirit. Our dear friend Richard said, “I think the Lord would like to give you gifts. So is there anyone who’s been wanting a gift?”

Like what!? What gift!?

As I sat in prayer I asked the Lord, “What gift(s) do you want to give me?” The word healing came to mind; it’s a word that has come up multiple times starting in month one of the race. At the beginning of the race I wasn’t sure why, but now I know! It’s because He’s been wanting me to step deeper into this gift of healing.

So that night we prayed over each person receiving gifts. Almost all of us were receiving gifts. That night, as I confidently stepped into this gift the Lord gave me, an opportunity to pray healing over someone in the group came up. I prayed healing over our friend Wally. Wally has had pain in his feet for a while due to diabetes. I laid my hand on his feet and prayed. I prayed with confidence that the Lord would heal him. I know that our God is the ultimate healer and great physician.

The next day Wally came to Richard’s house for men’s bible study and he came with praises. Wally went to sleep with no pain and spent the entire day on his feet without any aches whatsoever! Isn’t that amazing!!?? I’ve seen Wally several times since, and he still says he hasn’t experienced any pain in his feet.

The Lord heals guys, and He wants us to step into and take ownership of the gifts He gives us. Even if we don’t see healing or something right away, continue to pray because the Lord has a plan in the way He heals or uses the gift.

We have a great and powerful God who wants to lavish us with gifts and blessings.
