For the last months, I’ve checked this webpage frequently. It’s my fundraising page for the race. Praying over open internet browsers was not a common part of my prayer life before fundraising began. But, as I prayed over support raising, so many grateful tears and prayers of thanksgiving and trust came. Over the last year, I’ve watched the green progress bar and percentage move closer and closer to 100%. $18,700 seemed like an obscene about of money to raise. I had no idea where the money would come from, but God always reminded me that it would come. And that is did. Over the last year, I have been introduced to love, community and the body in deeper ways because of fundraising. The partnerships, generosity and love that has been extended in this process has been PRICELESS. This past week, I received my last donations, and I am now fully funded. FULLY FUNDED. FULLY FUNDED!
God has made a way, and every penny of the $18,700 has been covered. (I’m WOWED and teary eyed) A HUGE thank you goes out to all of those who supported me in love—love for the Lord, love for mission, love for the journey within my heart and life. The body of Christ and community truly is a direct extension of God’s love. I am so aware of the dynamic and extravagant network of His love.
As I sit in a coffee shop in North Cyprus this morning, I continue to be overwhelmed by the tangible marks of God’s faithfulness all around. From rising of the sun this morning, to the sound of laughter, to the reality of this season in North Cyprus, to God’s presence—His fingerprints are everywhere. The truth of God’s character renews and refreshes our whole being. And in the last months, I have been learning His truth in fresh and new depths.
He is an abundant God.
He is a God who sees.
God goes before us.
God is faithful.
God is to be trusted. In everything.
God is intentional.
His timing is perfect.
God empowers for His purpose.
He is a God who uses weaknesses and failure for His glory.
God perfectly heals in his will.
He is hope. His faithfulness is such hope.
God is with us, always.
He is a God who moves mountains.
God is gentle and tender in love.
He corrects and convicts our spirit in love.
He desires our whole heart, contrite and humble.
He redeems and has a plan for this world.
He is near to the brokenhearted and lost.
He pursues us endlessly.
He gives freely; His love is not conditional.
His love is revealed beautifully in community.
He is our daily bread.
He is the God of every season.
He is good. Always.
He is our refuge and strength.
He takes great delight in His children.
The invitation to the Lord’s table is open.
His truth doesn’t change. This love is eternal.
It is an extreme privilege to be in relationship with Christ. It is an extreme privilege to walk with Him, to grow in Him, to be corrected by Him, to be redeemed by Him, to be tenderly loved by Him. He is good, and wow has He been moving. In this season, it is an extreme privilege to experience His world in this way. My life and faith has already been forever changed. As M-squad continues to bring the Light to unreached places, I thank you for your support. My heart is humbled and grateful. The fire that He set ablaze in my spirit continues to grow by his mercy. My life is only in Him, and He is faithful.
