I have to say I’m just in awe of God’s provision and faithfulness. Back when I applied in February I was very much worried how I was going to get the funds for this trip on top of everything else I had to pay for. When I told my parents the concerned looks were enough to make me reconsider, and rightfully so, however I knew this is what I was called to do in my next season. So when I was asked how I was going to come up with the money my answer was honest and simple, “I don’t know. God will take care of it.” Man has he ever.
I’ve been blessed to work in a ministry that is under great teaching on Kingdom Principles and actually explains how to apply them financially. It’ll be hard leaving the community of amazing people I’ve come to know here, but I am forever thankful for the love, wisdom, and laughter I’ve gotten to share with them. Now I get to take all that to the nations!
If you’ve noticed at the top of my page there is a green bar indicating where I am in the funding scale. I am very blessed and happy to say I believe by the time we leave I will be fully funded. However this post isn’t about me, but some people in my squad family that need some extra help in order to reach our second deadline by mid December. From our end it’s utterly nerve-wracking not knowing when the next donation will come in, and if we’ll reach each deadline in time. For that I have to give these squadmates of mine major props in their faith and humility for sticking with it despite the fears and circumstance (seriously I love you guys). I am writing this particular blog because we’re all in this together and I am appealing for your help. I understand you don’t know them, I understand you may have already done what God has laid on your heart to do and given to me, or heck just gave because you believe in something bigger. I am asking those of you whom God is stirring in you heart to do even more.
