As promised, here is a little recap from my last 4 months on the race.

Month 8, Uganda, I got the privilege of leading these amazing girls.

I also got to teach English to these first grade cuties.

And I completely fell in love with these two girls, Joan and Peace.

Next was Kenya, where my new team and I got shipped off to the desert, and Jesus shocked us all by bringing over 500 people into his kingdom during door to door evangelism.

We spent the month with Pastor Robert and his church and they quickly became our African family.

And once again, Jesus gave me a little girl, Patricia, to love.

We spent Month 10, Nepal, living with 40 women and children who had been rescued out of the sex  trafficking buisness.

We got to entertain all the kids during their school break so we spent time at the pool and climbed mountains.

Last was India, which was one of my favorite months so far. We spent the month dressing up in saris   and crashing Indian weddings.

We saw God do amazing things in what India sees as “the least of these”. This woman had a dislocated arm and while we were praying for her it popped back into place under my hand!

We ended the race just like we started it, as a squad.

No words can accurately describe how much these people mean to me. I am so grateful for each one of them and for every moment of this journey. The ways I saw God move and the way He provided/ loved/ protectected/ redeemed each of us every day have opened my eyes to vastness of God. It wasn’t always easy, but nothing beautiful ever is.
