Ello folks, we arrived at our hot spot for the next few weeks. A ways outside Accra to a place called Tema. Our first night we had a sweet/awesome/Holy Spirt- PARTY in a church. WOW let me tell ya bout it. SO.. a 7 passenger van shows up to haul 12 people. this is africa (TIA). and we drive to a smaller village type place, sorta a ghetto. Looks can be extreemly decieving. The Spirit of God called us to dance, run, clap, all sorts of wonderful ways of worshipping God. No music just beautiful voices lifted REAL high. Something God spoke over that service was this…
i gave each of my children wonderful PERFECT voices that i enjoy to hear so much. i want to hear them, i want to hear all of my childrens voices in harmony, in unity. THough our voices may not be American-idol worthy… i KNOW God loves each of them. And he calls ALL of us to worship, not just the ones who sing pretty, not just the children who can jam out on a guitar or piano but ALL of us together, as the living body of Jesus. Thank God i dont have to have a wonderful voice to praise, thank God i dont always have to clap on beat to be praising my Father! He doesnt want those who can sing nice or hit the high notes to lead others in worship, he wants the ones who WORSHIP him with what he has given them. True worship is forgetting all else but our Father and letting him know how wonderful we think he is.
Thanks Lord for loving my voice even when its off tune (most the time) and even loving it when it sounds like a frog. thanks for loving me just the way u made me.
Cheers to you all. Lets worship Him with our lives.
i love you all
