HEYA everyone!!! So been in guatamala for a few days and its been fabulous. Spent lots of time cleaning out ourselves so that the Lord would have a larger place to invade inside of us. God has done unimaginable things already and i can hardly wait to see this world changed because of what He has done inside all 45 of us. My team and team Jubilee havebeen assigned to the Mayan indian tribe. we will be doing construction on a church intheir village, orphanage work, and maybe some exploring of the jungle around us. God has put a huge coat on us and we plan to grow into it!
My prayer request is that the Kingdom of God would fall on our Mayan friends and rain down in a way that the village would NEVER be the same. A prayer for the church we are going to build, that God would meet people there, that there would not be a day when the Mayans settle, but they would continue to grow individually upwards holiness and righteous living. A prayer for the people to know love directly from the creator of love, and hope which exceeds anything this world could offer them. A prayer that religion be broken forever andthey would continually long for relationship with the KING. Faith without good deads is meaningless and good deeds without faith is nothing. A prayer that they would know the grace Jesus will undoubtedly give them. A prayer for freedom over their lives, the chains of sin would be crushed and burned in the fire of Christs’ love. FREEDOM.
A prayer over our team to be THE body of Christ to each other and to all around us. That we would be living so directly with Christ that He would be visible in our works and actions. A prayer for unending love, not only in moments of strength but in those times where we are weak and broken. I must become less and less and He MUST become more and more. A prayer that our team would be further united in using our spiritual gifts. God has done mighty things to us as individuals and He has even greater plans for us has a synergy unit.
God is always good. When it hurts and we suffer… He grows and gets the glory!!! Praise be to God when we have no toilet paper, no toilet, no running water, no shower, no bed. When it is me in my most bare element…thats when I am met by the King. That is our purpose, bringing the Kingdom of God.
As for all of me lovas back home, i miss ya already.I pray andthink of you often. Thank u for support and continued prayers… i amvery thankful!!! and i mean very.
