I hope this blog finds all of you well and enjoying the holidays! We spent Christmas in Bangkok Thailand and even went to dinner at the Outback Steakhouse in downtown Bangkok! Yes, it was wonderful. We will be throwing a small New Years party tonight and doing the usual staying up till midnight/countdown and fireworks! We are stationed in Chanthaburi, Thailand. Funny how well God knows me, he knows my heart is in the country or the open ranges and boy are we ever in Chanthaburi. We are actually living inside a church about 20 mins outdside of Chanthaburi. The pastor and his family live in a house next to us. We are teaching english classes and actually hosting an English camp in the next couple days. The camp has been announced on t.v. in town and radio! We hope to have billions come. haha i kid. We do hope to have a good number show up, I am sure we will have the opportunity to blog about the camp later on.
Something God is teaching me, is love. Love that is unnatural to our flesh. A love that comes only from him and not of myself. I am learning to love with purity and kindness not just those who are easy to get along with or easy to talk to, but those who are broken/sinful/ungodly. Those who I cannot love, God wants to give me the ability to love. Those who I would naturally stray far from, God created and loves those just as much as me. We are all called to a deeper love than our own. God wants that for us, he longs to give us the supernatural. And I want it, I desire to love above and beyond what this world knows. And I will.
This blog is all over the place and short I know, sorry!
I would ask for each of you to keep our team in yer prayers, illness has struck several times to some of my mates. Though illness has no victory here it is always a threat.
Ask for prayers for divine encounters with those who need Jesus Christ.
Prayers for my finances, we are coming upon January and my account is a little behind our financial goal.
Prayers for increase in spiritual growth, I never want to be content, God is endless and I want more.
Know that I am praying for God to encounter you.
