Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well! I’m writing to let you know about some new things that have been happening in my life. Over the past few months, God placed a strong desire in my heart to want to do something more with my life and to follow in obedience to Christ and to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). After graduating from UNI in May 2013 with a Bachelors in Social Work degree and spending lots of time in prayer asking God to reveal what He had in store for me, He led me straight to The World Race.
The World Race is a Christian mission trip through a non-profit organization called Adventures in Missions (AIM). It’s an 11-month journey to 11 different countries. Through adventure, ministry, community, and self-discovery, World Racers develop broken hearts that propel their hands to act for God’s kingdom around the globe. I am scheduled to leave in January 2014 and will be visiting the people of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, and the Philippines. My team and I will be partnering with local churches and ministries to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, teach in the classrooms, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
I am so grateful for this opportunity that God has given me, and have every confidence that He can provide for me! Ultimately, my prayer is that this goal can be met through you. I am writing to you to ask if you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in my ministry. I must raise $15,500 in order to go on the World Race, which covers all my expenses on the field. This financial support can be given through a one-time gift or as a monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount you would like to donate, and beginning and end date. If 30 people were to give $50 over the course of a year, I would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for my trip. Whether $5 or $500, any donation is greatly needed and appreciated!

With Much Love,
Kelsey Kraus
