This past month I have learned that God has given me a beautiful story.  A story to not keep to myself but to share with everyone and to glorify His name.  Testimonies are powerful.  They’re powerful in the sense that when you open up and are vulnerable with people that allows the people you’re sharing with to open up also.  God has given our stories to us to point people to Him.  My story wasn’t easy to share with my squadmates because there have been plenty of times that I have fallen away from God’s path and have been filled with shame, but through that darkness the Lord brings light.  Sharing my testimony was definitely one of the hardest parts of this month but by far one of the most rewarding.  I encourage you when given the opportunity to open up and share your heart, your story is a tool to bless others around you.

While in Honduras we had the amazing opportunity to stay at a ministry, El Corazon De Christo, that is a refuge for women and kids who have been victims of abuse.  Throughout the month we were able to love on these wonderful people and hear their stories.  They’re not happy stories but God is a God of redemption and love.  Life is going to be hard but God has a plan and wants to bring joy on the otherside.  Alot of these kids have been abandoned but they know that God isn’t going to abandon them.

My wonderful teammate, Nicole Bouza, is a video pro and made a video to share the stories of the people that we were able to live with and minister to this month. Checkkkkk it out below!

I just realized that the video I posted before was not uploaded properly… so I updated the link and it is working now.  If you have time please watch this video and you can get a little glimpse of the people that I was with in Honduras.
