Today, I am with my team(Trust Without Borders-TWB) staying in a hostel in Guatemala City. Last night we decided to start training today and were on the hunt for a Starbucks. To our luck, we came across one in a mall close by. Our hearts desire for a pumpkin spice latte needed to be quenched.
Upon arriving at Starbucks(ahhhhh), drinks finally ordered and in hand, Kelsey S. and Annie D. started discussing with the team the logistics of unsung heroes ministry and what that looks like as well as the different roles that each of us would take on.
A girl had passed us while we were sitting down and she was just glowing for some reason. After our meeting, Beth went over to talk to her. She brings her over and introduces her as, Lauren. We spent the day getting to know Lauren and found out that she is working for a ministry that does all sorts of things. They minister to children living in the dumps and their goal is to teach them skills that will allow them to sustain themselves instead of living off handouts.
Three other scenarios happened just like that throughout our day at the mall where we met believers working for a ministry in Zone 3 of Guatemala City. CRAZY STUFF.
Our Hostel is in Zone 1 of Guatemala City, Lauren's ministry and the other ministries we came across are all in Zone 3. I believe that is where The Lord is helping us network and move to next.
Your prayers and encouragement are so appreciated!!
Much Love!
