I recently found this song by Tim Timmons and it is on point with everything The Lord has been teaching me lately. That is, to treasure Him on such a deep and profound level like never before. Since I came to know Christ I have always treasured him but I am learning to also be protective of that. The enemy is alway looking for a way in to convince me to put my hope in other things/people and steal my joy but I will always fight against that. It has definitely been hard and I’ve learned from some mistakes in the process but fighting for my joy in the Lord is worth more to me than anything under the sun.
