Being in a closed country that is one hundred percent buddhist was an unforgettable experience.

The day to day was definitely something to persevere through because my team and I were in search for future world race contacts so you could imagine the challenges.

My team and I celebrated easter and worshiped Jesus in our little hostel dorm. It was beautiful and something to be thankful for.

There were traces of hope everywhere we embarked as long as we kept our eyes open and looking for it.

The bike rides through the streets, countless sandwiches, hmong village visits, english lessons, christian church outside of the city we came across through acquaintances, countless conversations with other backpackers and ventures through the night markets. Jesus was in it all.
