“When you’re with people you love anywhere can feel like home” part 2- TRAINING CAMP EDITION!!
Last week in Georgia was one of the best weeks of my entire life! I finally met my squad and my teammates within my squad that I’ll be doing ministry with for the next 11 months. Words can’t describe what it was like so I’m glad that I took a few pictures ( :
Each day was not only filled with new foods and workouts to do but new challenges and opportunities to be thankful for. I don’t think I’ve ever prayer, worshiped, danced and laughed so much together all in one week before. It was a blast getting to know everyone and really be able to live freely with these people. It was a week of not holding anything back, serving others before yourself, and seeking The Lord’s presence above all. I think that is what made all of the challenges so sweet was how evident the Lord’s presence was with these prayerful people. I adore the staff and the culture they have created within this ministry. They’re simple yet so intentional. Honest and loving.
My D-squad or Dauntless(cannot be intimidated; bold and fearless) teammates officially launch out of the country from Georgia on July 3rd!! It really sunk in when they announced it on the last day of training camp.
What I mostly got out of this week spiritually was how The Lord just affirmed daily my purpose on this trip. I couldn’t be more excited to be used in loving his people and sharing the gospel with the nations. I have no idea what is ahead but I’m ready to embrace all that is in store for my team and I.
I am so incredibly blessed by those who have given financially, shared my story, and are going out before me in prayer. You have no idea what it means to me to know and be affirmed that I’m not on this race alone. The best part about a trip like this isn’t in meeting a financial goal, the miracles that will occur, or even in finishing the race but is about who I am doing it with. The people who are right beside me through this journey. If you’re reading this I guarantee that you have impacted me in some way and I’m eternally grateful to partake in this trip with your help.
I’d appreciate your help in any of the following ways: prayer-always a priority.
donating via the support link on the left-I’ve passed the final deadline before launch which is $7500 and not including monthly donations I still need around $8,000 So anything helps!
Come out and support Evan and I playing some live music at Fralo’s on June 3rd from 7:00-9:30pm
and of course please help share my story with your friends and family-Thank you!!
Grace and Peace
