Hello!
To those of you receiving this letter you are family, friends, or just someone the Lord has put on my heart to send this to. I hope this letter finds you well! I wanted to write to let you know about some exciting news that will be taking place. As I grow closer and closer with the Lord, seeking His perfect will for my life and not my own, the greater the call I feel to be His hands and feet. To be a true disciple of Christ and live completely for Him and His people while here on this earth. My heartbeat is to serve others. I want to share God’s love and His gospel in hopes that they too will come to know and accept the Lord as their personal Savior. I believe we should always be a light for Christ wherever we go, bringing Him glory in all things, but this is where I feel He is calling me to do so…
I will serve as a missionary through an organization called Adventures in Missions, in their World Race program. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. My team and I will be heading out on the field July 2013, we will be traveling to Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. Our mission is to live out Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…” On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
I am so grateful for this opportunity that God has given me, and have every confidence that He will provide for my needs! Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. I am writing to you to ask if you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in my ministry. I must raise $15,500 in order to go on the World Race, which covers all of my expenses on the field. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount and beginning and end date.
