Hello everyone 🙂
I'm Kelsey Correa and I am 21 years old, blessed to be here, living for Jesus.
However, instead of focusing on my dreams and wants in life like I used to, I am focusing on His plans for my life and being in His perfect will. Each and everyday my prayer is to grow closer and closer to Him; to become more like Him in all aspects. To develop the heart He has and to show the LOVE that He shows to everyone.
My lifelong dream now is to always serve Him by serving others and being that light that shines for Christ.
No matter where I am or where I may go I want to always be that light to others so that through me they can see Him. He deserves all the glory and all the praise and in this short time frame I have in this world I plan on giving Him my everything. He is my everything.
Now because He created each and every one of us in His perfect image, each with our own individual uniqueness, I will share a little about me and the person I am today because of Him…
First things first and most importantly, I love the Lord with all my heart!
I am from Easton, Maryland; born and raised. I love my small town and all the wonderful friendly people in it.
I grew up in a Christian family, which I am so thankful for. I also grew up with pretty much all of my family members living in our area. We are all so close and honestly, they are my world. My dad is my best friend, my role model and the earthy father who has always shown and taught me who my true father is, my heavenly father and the love He has for me.
I am a very compassionate person, my heart tends to want to give a piece of itself away to everything and everyone.
I love LOVE love and adore little kids and I pray I can show them the love Jesus has for them through my love.
LOVE IS EVERYTHING. DO EVERYTHING IN LOVE.
I love nature and everything about the outdoors. Especially the sunrises and sunsets the Lord so beautifully paints.
I love everything that keeps me active and healthy. A few of my favorite things to do are biking, running, taking long walks (the beach will do, but i'd take a hike in the mountains over that anyday), dancing (I don't even need music to get me going, ha), playing soccer and many other activities!
Health and nutrition are two things that are very important to me and I love to help others learn to prioritize them in their lives as well. After all, our bodies are temples of the Lord and we should always take care of them.
I love praise and worship time. I'm known to sing A LOT, too much, so my family tells me…maybe if I was actually gifted with a better voice they wouldn't mind, haha! Oh well, too bad. (sorry not sorry fellow teammates 🙂
I love anything old & vintage! I love to antique and I believe trash or "junk" can be turned into something beautiful. Who doesn't enjoy a good treasure hunt?!
I love arts & crafts and anything that allows me to be creative.
I try to find the beauty in all things.
I will continue to seek the Lord and grow in Him so that I become everything HE has created me to be.
I will continue to be His hands and feet to help and reach others and to share the love of God everywhere I go.
I cannot wait to see how the Lord will transform my life and the lives of others through this journey called the World Race!
