The blog I have the most trouble writing. You would think over the past year and all my experiences, I would have learned I cannot do it on my own. I KNOW I can’t do it on my own, I know that I need to rely on God for EVERYTHING. And sometimes, He asks me to reach out to others, so they can help me – especially financially. This is the HARDEST thing for me, it always has been, but I hope I can get better at it.

I need help, y’all.

I need to raise $10,000 total for the Fellowship program, but I need $730 by September 1st. That is just over one week. I am not worried about the money, I know God will provide in time because He has called me to this next step.

I have included my fundraising letter. If you would like a physical copy, please message or email me your address and I will send you one with a personal note.

Thank you for your support, whether financial, prayer or moral, it is all appreciated!

This past year I was blessed to experience missions, life, community and so much more through the World Race. I have walked the foothills of Nepal, prayed for many villagers in India, helped build a church in Thailand, taught kids English in Cambodia, played with kids in Swaziland and South Africa, shared the gospel on a college campus in Botswana, planned a pastoral trip in Romania, completed constructions projects in Transnistria/Moldova, discovered new contacts for Adventures in Missions in Belize, and lived life with some kids in Nicaragua. I have seen God in so many ways and in so many people across the world. I learned about lifting others up through their struggles, encouraging others daily, and how to live in one house with 42 people. I have seen joy and light in the eyes of those who have heard the Truth for the first time, I have seen the sorrow and sadness of those trapped in worship of false God’s, I have seen true happiness in those who have absolutely nothing and most of all I have seen and experienced love. This past year God opened my eyes to so many possibilities.

I am truly blessed to be able to share God’s Word around the world, and it was possible because of YOU. Thank you for your prayer, and emotional, spiritual and financial support over the past year. Without you, none of this was possible. You may not have physically gone around the world with me, but you have always been in my heart. The lessons I have learned from you, the prayers I have felt and the love shown are so appreciated, and I am sorry I do not have enough words to express my appreciation.

This has been an adventure of a lifetime, I am so glad we got to share in it together. I am embarking on a new adventure soon. This one does not involve my passport, but I will be moving out of Texas for a little bit. I have been offered an awesome opportunity to be a part of the Fellowship program at Adventures in Missions in Gainesville, Georgia. In the program I will work on a project for a specific department (most likely the World Race Dept), be discipled, and have a professional mentor guide me over 6 months. I am very excited about this opportunity and the doors God has thrown open for me. I am excited to work on ‘the other side’ of missions, to be the first line of support here in the U.S. to those who have answered the call to go abroad.

I hope you prayerfully consider supporting my next step, either through pray, financially, or both. I need $3000 by September 1st to participate in the program and $9950 to be fully supported. This amount goes towards housing costs, program costs, and a monthly stipend for other expenses I may incur. Please prayerfully consider supporting me in this new adventure. Any and all support (prayer, emotional, spiritual, financial, etc) is much appreciated.

If you would like to follow this journey with me, I will do my best to keep up my blog, kelseybeggs.theworldrace.org.

God Bless, Kelsey Beggs
