Life in Nepal

This month my team is 'spoiled.' We are staying in a 5 story home. Our home is surrounded by beautiful hills/ mountains where we can look out over the city. We are able to shower (every other day), we have tea time, brunch, snack and dinner. Our hosts provided sleeping mats and pillows!!! We are in four rooms, 6 girls in one room, 3 in one room, the 3 guys in a room and our squad leader has her own room. We have a place to do our laundry – by hand. Definitely a learning curve on that but I think I'm getting the hang of it. We are within walking distance of wifi and a market where we can buy snacks.

It is monsoon season and it usually rains very early every morning. We have some light showers in the day but not often.

Some of the other people on our squad are trekking through the mountains to visit rural villages, so we are 5 stars compared to them. Please continue to pray for all our teams and our work in Nepal.
