A lot of our time here is spent in prayer. We pray for the Hindu communities, the Buddhist areas, the valley, healing for people in the church and like you read in my last blog, for it to stop raining.

I do not think I have ever prayed so much in my life. We often pray 'Nepali' style or what some call warrior prayer: everyone prays out-loud at the same time. I listen to the Nepali people around me and am astounded at their prayers. I can't understand them, but I can feel their passion as they pour out their hearts to God. Nothing is too big or small for God in their eyes. They cry out to Him, they weep, it is a passion I have never seen before.

I know all things are important to God, He cares for the small details or big life-changing events and He wants us to bring everything before Him. I have gotten a lot better at praying for everything since being in Nepal, we pray for good dreams, going to the bathroom regularly, open hearts/opportunities to share God's word, healing, etc.

I am nowhere close to praying with the passion the Nepali people do, but I hope/pray my prayers are more specific and detailed. Before I came on the World Race, I was reading "The Circle Maker." It was great in describing ways to pray better. Praying is just a conversation with God, yes He already knows everything but He wants to hear it from us.

I encourage you to pray with passion, to pray for everything, even the little things, and to pray constantly.

Hopefully pics to come soon!!!
