This week is my 27th birthday (and my sister, Ashley’s 27th too – yes we are twins)!!! I am now closer to 30 than I ever thought I would be. I really had no idea what I wanted after college but it has been a great birthday week!
If you have been following my blog (if not, feel free to subscribe for updates) you know February was “Fundraising February.” It was also “Kelsey-is-so-stressed-out-she-might-cry February.” And I did cry but that is ok. Fundraising can be difficult and stressful, but I know God will continue to provide. Throughout the month with ALL the fundraising going on, I was able to raise 53% of what I need to go on the World Race.

53%!!!
That is just over half-way! And there were more tears of joy and a private dance party. This means I have met and surpassed my 3rd fundraising deadline of $7500 as of June 20th. Most of the money was raised through the Quilt Raffle. Again, I am VERY grateful to Shug McCamish for donating the lovely quilt.
I am very blessed by everyone who has contributed towards the World Race. I know there are people praying, encouraging, loving, and giving of time, shoulders to lean on, and money.
I can’t and don’t want to do this without y’all. I know I am the one going, but I can’t do it alone. I cannot remember ever doing anything alone; I always had my sister or a friend. (I know God is always with me, but sometimes you need a physical hug.) During the next 14 months, I will need prayer, love, encouragement, and someone to help me keep my sanity.
Thank you for your continued support. I am sorry I don’t blog more; I am still trying to figure out what all to ‘say.’ If you have ideas or questions that I could write about, let me know.
If you would like to donate towards my World Race adventure, there is a link to the left labeled ‘Support Me.’ I also have T-shirts for sale. I will have bracelets from Threads for Hope for sale until March 31st.
Also for those that have asked, I have a ‘wish list’ at myregistry.com. You will need to search my name, Kelsey Beggs. I know there is not much (if anything) on there right now. There will be more on there soon, and probably even more after Training Camp in May.
