Africa has been nothing short of surprises ever since stepping foot on the ground! Within hours not only did I get to stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time (aka The Equator), but I also had the pleasure of finally understanding what it is like to get sick on a travel day (<– please insert any sarcastic voice that suits your fancy). I’m feeling quite a bit better than I was, but I’m still not 100%. The unfortunate side of becoming ill is that I cannot take my malaria medicationtwith the medication for me to get better. Sooo, I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers for healing and health for the remaining three months of the race.
