Hey friends!!

My team and I have six days left in China before heading to MONGOLIA! How crazy is that?! Time has flown by faster than I thought it would. Since I finally am able to get online and get my internet working, here is a quick blog post about the organization we have been working for this past month:

Roundabout is an organization that started back in 2008 to help those in need, such as other charities, children and others who are sick and in need of life saving surgeries, supporting orphanages and hospice centers for children, and so much more. Think of them as somewhat of a Goodwill. People come to donate their old belongings, where they then get sorted and priced and then either donated to others or sold in Roundabout’s store.

For my team and I, work looked a lot like sorting and pricing thousands of books to be ready to sell at an international school’s book fair, creating scrapbooks and display boards for people to look through and learn more about the organization and the people being helped, refurbishing furniture, sorting clothes, repainting the outside of the building, and creating marketing strategies for them to use in the future.

Enjoy this video my sweet teammate Jess made!
Thanks Roundabout for a great first month!
