DAY EIGHT/ #fortydayfloodoflove
We never got a picture, but our Tuk-Tuk driver’s name was Dara. He’s the one in the video.
God crossed our paths. I’m sure of that.
We walked outside our hostel in Phenom Phenn Cambodia and had multiple tuk tuk drivers bombarding us, but Dara was different.
He was leaning against his tuk tuk across the street. Waiting patiently.
We asked if he could give us a ride.
He said yes.
Turns out he was out of work, and just trying to provide for his family.
We needed a reliable and honest driver during our time in town, and Dara was just that. So we spent a lot of time with him.
He was a good man, and we were able to tell him why we came to Cambodia; to Love people and share Jesus.
Sometimes God shares His Love in the smallest of ways; like providing a tuk tuk driver for us, and steady work for him. Even if it was just so the name of Jesus could be spoken there.
But that is how Love is spread. It starts with the smallest seed. And one day, if it takes root, Dara’s children might hear about that strange man named Jesus. All because of a few tuk tuk rides.
