We’ve been in India for about 3 days, so thought I should update you with Nepal! We probably won’t have wifi this month, so it’ll be a little while until I post again!

Nepal was a phenomenal month of amazing scenaries, but it was a challenge!

1) I can do hard things (like hike the Himalayas)!
We were given an option to hike in the Himalayas! At first my answer was no… Himalayas=high mountains=enter thoughts as to whether I could even do it. But over that day, God had gently tugged on my heart. There’s people up there who need to hear about Me, will you be the one to do it? Yes! Yes! I want you to use me! I don’t want you to use someone else!

2) Pride and comparison are stumbling blocks
Comparison is the thief of all joy! If I want to be joyful, I need to get rid of comparison! God has placed me in this season, doing what He wants me to be doing, and I need to fully embrace what He has given to me instead of comparing what He has given to someone else. Comparison can sometimes also lead to being prideful and puffing myself up. I’ve realized these are stumbling blocks, but I’m still working on them. Check in on another blog somewhere down the line, because these will not be stumbling blocks for long!

3) Be present when sharing meals with friends and family
Eating together at a table deepens relationships (as long as the electronics are put away)! Ask what people have been learning, or if anything exciting has happened. Spend that extra time with one another because these could be the best moments of your day, and it will greatly deepen your relationships with others over time!

Thanks for tuning in!!
