When you want something aligned with God’s heart, He is faithful to let that come to fruition
One of my biggest goals for the race is to finish well each month. That means not burning out, and just going through the day to day of ministry. On our last day of ministry, God knew it was the desire of my heart, and it turned out to be one of my favorite days of ministry. We allowed Him to lead us wherever He wanted, and He did not disappoint!
Community is like a marriage
Community is something I learned more about month one, and apparently God’s not done teaching me yet. Media portrays marriage as something that’s easy, and doesn’t require much work. But that is definitely not the case! Marriage, like community is something that needs to be fought for. It’s not always easy to love everyone, but those are the times that matter most. Fight for community. It won’t always be easy, but it will ALWAYS be worth it.
Truth demolishes lies
I struggled with believing lies this past month. Believing lies can tear you down really quick. We currently have targets on our back, because this is definitely not something the devil wants us to be doing. But man oh man, Jesus has a truth that counteracts anything the devil can throw at us, because He and we are already victorious over the devil and his lies! So anytime a lie comes your way, speak truth over those lies each and every day until they are a thing of the past 🙂
