Lately the Lord has been doing something super cool to my eyes. It is almost like He gave me a new set of eyes. He has been showing me the beauty of His creation, His creativity.

Everything I look at, I have to stop and stare. “Woah, God. You CREATED this. You put so much creativity and intentionality into this; this gorge, this tree, this gust of wind.” I am simply in awe.

That’s just nature. And then I look at humans and FLIP OUT because they are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, and then 5 seconds later ANOTHER person that makes me think they are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen walks by. When I look into the eyes of another human being, I see the Lord. I see the Lord’s creation, his heart, his beauty. I see a piece of Him.

We are made in the image of Jesus. Get this, since we all hold a different piece of the Lord’s image in us, then therefore we look more like Him in community!!!! WILDLY COOL if you ask me!! We all hold His beauty inside of us. We have been made BEAUTIFULLY in the image of Christ!

I have been gifted with seeing all of these things, seeing all this beauty in life around me.Through seeing these things it has helped me to see how beautiful Jesus has created me to be. God made everything so unique, yet so beautiful. People and nature alike, uniquely beautiful.

Doing this is helping me to feel known by Jesus because he made all of these beautiful things, but also made me. Intimately created and formed me. Creating me took time. Psalm 139.

I’m so so so thankful that the Lord gave me eyes to see all these things. And eye doctors because I’m blind. Because I see, I can step back and appreciate the beauty of the world and beauty outside the world.

Looking out the window in awe.
Don’t ever lose the wonder. LISTEN TO WONDER BY HILLSONG.

Also update; I have finished my time in Botswana, and am now in Johannesburg, South Africa. My team and team vessel will be working together the next two months here partnering with Impact Africa. We will be doing evangelism in squatter camps, baby rescue, children’s ministry, and helping in schools. Our main focus will be outreach/evangelism in the squatter camps. We have the opportunity to do so many amazing things for the kingdom, so to say I’m pumped is an understatement!

We are in one of the highest crime cities in the world, so prayers for safety would be so appreciated BUT what better way to make the city safe than to bring Jesus into it!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope Jesus gives you a new set of eyes to see the beauty too!

much love

joyfully,
Kell
