ONE STEP/ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!
Insert from Jesus Calling Devotional:
“Follow me ONE STEP at a time. That is all I require of you. We see huge mountains looming and wonder how we will get up there, because you aren’t looking, you stumble on the easy path. You don’t now what will happen today or tomorrow. Our path may take an abrupt turn away from those mountains. If I lead you to the cliffs, I will equip you for that climb.“
On February 10th, I had a love themed Paint Party fundraiser! It was a huge success and I am so grateful for that!
When I was planning this fundraiser I honestly thought about 20 people would come. It was during Valentines time and I started planning it and telling people about it about 2 weeks prior. 49 people showed up and painted!
To those who came to this fundraiser, THANK-YOU!! THANK-YOU!! THANK-YOU!! I appreciate it so much. It was such a blessing to see all you come out to support me. It really means the world to me. People I didn’t even know came and supported me and that was so amazing to me!
In the Jesus Calling book, this quote “If I lead you to the cliffs, I will equip you for that climb” really spoke to me in this World Race Journey of life that I am in.
I know that God wants me to go on the World Race. As nervous and worried about it, I have a peace about going! Even though, I know that this is my next step, sometimes I stop and look at that mountain of $18,000 that I need to raise in order to go on this trip and think, “How in the world am I going to do this? I go to a small church, I don’t know that many people….the list goes on and on” BUT……
God has led me to the World Race and has led me this far!! He is in control and He WILL equip me for this climb of raising money (and the getting in shape climb too ;)! )
During this journey, it is so easy to get focused on raising the money, planning fundraisers, spreading the word that you start to forget this is only possible with God. I know He has led me to the World Race and that He will make a way.
This devotional was such a great reminder for me! Sometimes it seems like there is no way to raise $18,000 but God will provide! He has already provided in so many ways during this whole journey.
In my World Race fund there is a little over $8,000! That is so A-M-A-Z-I-N-G to me!! I want to end this blog by saying THANK YOU SOOOOO much to all the awesome people who have donated, who have helped with fundraisers, and those are praying! I am so thankful for all of you for helping me get far!!!

*Here are some things I am asking for prayer*
-Finances to be raised
-that I keep walking everyday and eating better to get ready for Training Camp
-Unity for my squad
-that we wont get discouraged during this journey
