This past weekend, I had an absolute blast in the desert with my new team (Hadassah, Nashiely, Joelle, Amber, Austin)!
My legs gave out on me after walking 18 miles in one day (and climbing mountain stairs that NEVER ENDED), but Petra is magnificent and well worth it!
In Wadi Rum, we drank copious amounts of Bedouin tea, took a Jeep tour (going way too fast), pet some camels, frolicked on sand dunes, climbed rocks, explored canyons, watched a spectacular sunset, ate delicious traditional Bedouin food, and camped overnight in the desert. Other than a few camels and pet dogs, the only wildlife we saw was an orange tabby.
It was truly the adventure of a lifetime!
God, You are so good and Your creation is so beautiful.

Wow, we have less than two weeks left in the Middle East! It is bittersweet— I have enjoyed it so much and it will be difficult to say goodbye, but I look forward to our time in Asia.
We have one more week here in Jordan, then we’re off to Israel for one week. Then Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and China.
I request prayer for my team and my squad, for our leadership, for the countries we will be traveling to, and for the people we will come across. Thank you and God Bless!
