I’m happy to tell you we
made it here on a great flight with no mishaps! We were greeted with
beautiful weather and beautiful surroundings. We are staying
currently in Mata Mata at a place Called Crystal Springs. This is
where all of us both M and N squad will be together as a full team
for “Launch” training. This used to be a resort in the
50’s and 60’s. Its beautiful here with a river that runs along the
side of it that has plenty of fish galore. For the advid golfers you
can golf at the local golf course just a field away for about $15 US
dollars and rent your clubs for about $4. We have been learning alot
about the Kiwi cultures. New Zealand has alot of diversity in their
population.
We are on limited internet
access so we are sending a quick note home to let everyone know we’re
here safely, and we’ll update and send pics in a few days. Thank you
so much for your prayers for a safe journey, they definitely have
been answered! We only had one luggage mishap and it was Auston,
from MP his bags didn’t make it. But we are thankful that was all
for as many of us traveling from as many different locations.
I am also happy to
announce an addition to my team …. Team THREE:SEVENTEEN. Her name
is Emily Simpson. So that makes 7 of us that will be traveling the
11 mos. together. Please continue to pray for all of us, as it is
all new and wonderful now, but I know there will be struggles and
trial that we will need to be unified in and your prayers will help
with those decisions. My team members are Bill & Katie Swan,
John Blair, Jesse Walsh, Lana Waites, Emily Simpson, and Me. Thank
you again for all of your prayers and support for me, it is greatly
appreciated! I can’t wait til I can post some pics and update
more…
