As I think about the Holiday Season…..
I think about What I am thankful for…..
I have been blessed in sooo many ways, and I think about the year I am going to embark on…
I look at even more things to be thankful for, simple little things… things we so often take for granted. Like cold medicine just around the corner at CVS… A bathroom with HOT and Cold water….A Nice comfy bed to sleep in….
Then I look at the bigger things…My health…the fact I can walk not only using both of my legs, but that I can stand upright. All of that because when I’m sick I have the opportunity to go to the Dr. just around the corner…you know the one up the street from CVS. I can go to him anytime just a little thing goes wrong, so they don’t become the big things….
I am thankful that my girls live in a fairly safe world….protected by laws and a system to protect its people. I think about their safety all the time…but I’m reminded when I see the injustice of children being abducted….or abused. I am thankful that I was raised in a home that taught me when everything else in life falls apart or changes from day to day….the constant that you can ALWAYS count on is God!! I hope when I pass away I have shared that one message with integrity!
