We are off to Costa Rica today. Although we only spent a week here in Nicaragua, the Lord has moved mightily here. I believe I will look back on this week as a true milestone in the World Race. The team is really coming together, truly embracing the vision of family, one mind, one spirit, one body.
Perhaps the greatest lesson I have learned is the power of prayer. As I stated in my last blog (My Valentine’s Day Gift), I believe that prayer is our gift from God. Each day I am strengthening my gift of intercession, as the Lord has pulled me to my kness to have an initmate conversation with him. It is in those moments that God speaks to me, he shows me what people need, he gives me words and visions to speak life into the body.
Yesterday Eric shared that as a group of us were out in the community, he was burneded to stay back at the hotel and pray for us. He said he felt as if he were with us. HE WAS. One Mind, One Body, One Spirit! That is the vision and the promise.
Please join us, please be on your knees interceeding for us. There have been so many times that we have been in the heat of battle during the day, and racers get back and read an email from a friend that says something like… “hey, you guys were really on my mind today.” Put us on your hearts as well. We need, we want, your prayers!
We are leaving today for Costa Rica. I have a vision of doing a radical church plant with the street kids there!!!
When the Lord puts us on your hearts, please accept His invitation to have an intimate conversation with him, to be right here with us on the battle field.
