We are still in Mexico, it has rained for 4 days. Interesting. When you do laundry in a bucket and hang in on a clothes line, and it rains for 4 days… hmmmmm!

The Lord is showering blessings as much as raindrops. We are still here with the entire World Race team and AIM staff participating in training in the am and pm. During the day we venture into the town for ministry.

Team Agapetos went to an drug and alcohol rehab center this week to minister to the men there. I spoke to the men about God’s unfailing love, and challenged them to the call of being ministers of reconciliation themselves. To go into their communities and preach to those still held captive in the bonds of drug and alcohol dependance. It was my first time to preach with an interpreter (the men all spoke Spanish).

After several of us spoke and a few of the girls prayed over them, Jake invited any one who did not have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ to stand… our mouths dropped as 13 men stood to accept Jesus Christ for the first time. See Jake’s blog at http://jakerodriguez.theworldrace.org We will be returning to the center weekly while we are here in Mexico to build relationships and disciple our new brothers. Praise God.

Don’t forget to check out the World Race home page at www.theworldrace.org for other blogs, pictures and important updates!!!

We are having to connect in internet cafes, mostly dial up… I hope to post more pictures soon.
