The Mighty Ducks spent the last week in the jungle – playing with the village children around the area, teaching some English, distributing food, teaching children how to brush their teeth (most of them had never seen a toothbrush!), and helping with medical clinics. It was an amazing week! I learned how to take blood pressure, and I also met many new jungle creatures and human friends. Here are some pictures from our time there!
Also during this week, I celebrated my 25th birthday! My team was amazing to me, and made me a balloon-animal-kingdom, and made me feel very loved. My favorite gift was a bag of PEANUT BUTTER M AND M’S! A rare luxury in the world!
Malaysia is VERY beautiful, and there are many pictures that I want to share from our month here. So, this blog doesn’t have very many words! But, rest assured that we are all healthy and happy and loving Asia.
Our time in Malaysia is coming to an end, and on Wednesday we will be flying to The Philippines for our tenth month on The World Race. Insane! As always – much love to you guys back at home. I will be coming home April 30th – mark your calendars! Can’t wait to see you all J
