My church is doing a series on the Justice of God and each week they’re interviewing a missionary that they partner with in a different country about their ministry. Today a lady from ‘Lil Flock in India was sharing about her ministry with children in a small village and it got me inspired to dream about where I could be going and who I could be serving next year on the race.
So here’s
my list so far (I’m sure it’ll change):
China– because the Harvest is so ripe there and I would love to be a part of it again. What little mandarin I remember is slowly slipping away.
India– because I want to touch the “untouchables”
Thailand– because people are turning to sex and drugs to fill the void in their heart
Cambodia– cuz it’s next to Viet Nam which I love!
Israel- why not take the gospel to the people group God promised so much to. Back to Jerusalem
Greece/Turkey– to marvel at the beautiful colors God created for my enjoyment to share Christ’s love with Muslims
Kenya– to love in the slums of Nairobi
South Africa– no specific reason
Peru– cuz I want to share the gospel over some well-cooked guinea pig
Argentina– So I can learn to dance
Costa Rica- Surfing ministry… duh!
That’s all for now. I’m sure the Lord will change some of those and place other countries and people groups on my heart, but I’m starting to dream big… and I like it.
Note to Seth Barnes and other WR staff: feel free to draw from this list in the decision-making process. 😉
