This month my team and I have been working with Mi Viña, a body of believers that walk intimately with the Holy Spirit. We have been incredibly blessed and honored to be part of their family this month.
Our ministry days have included the following:
Painting 🙂
Working with Líderes Sin Fronteras (Leaders Without Borders), a nonprofit organization that was founded by one of the men in the church
Cleaning the church/organizing storage rooms
Evangelizing (which have been my favorite days)
Visiting a nursing home
There are many more testimonies that have come from this month than I am able to share, but I hope the following stories give you a glimpse into what the Lord has been doing.
JON
We met Jon evangelizing. He and his roommate were standing in the entrance of their home, and we noticed them watching us as we were praying for their neighbors. We went to introduce ourselves and they welcomed us inside. Jon and his friend are both believers. Brandon, my team leader, asked if either of them had shoulder pain. Jon said yes. We prayed. Jon was healed. He had the biggest smile of astonishment on his face. Jon’s words to us were, “I can’t believe it. I will never forget this day or you all.” Nor will I ever forget how the Lord changed Jon’s life.
MIGUEL
On the same day that we talked with Jon, we met Miguel and his family. They run a pulpería (snack stand) where we stopped. Miguel and his brother Alex invited us into their home. We talked and prayed for both boys. Miguel said that he was going to shower and change his clothes because he wanted to accept Jesus. He wanted to bring his best before the Lord. We left, ate lunch, and returned an hour later. I was honored to lead him in a prayer submitting his life to Christ.
JULIO
We met Julio at the nursing home we visited. He was one of the first people we talked with. We learned that a stroke had left the whole right side of his body nonfunctioning. We prayed. His body was restored. He stood up to walk. Before we left we was walking around the room holding his walker in the air.

ZECHARIAH
He was blind. Now he sees. It’s simple yet unbelievable. Zechariah had been nearly blind for 10 years. His eyelids remained closed due to nonuse. After we prayed we asked him to open his eyes. His eyelids raised and we saw his eyes fighting to look into ours. He said, “I couldn’t see, but now I see well.” His joy was revealed in his tears.

These testimonies are of the power of God as Healer. We prayed simple prayers in the name of Jesus Christ. And miracles happened. Seems crazy to me too.
But Peter said, “I have no sliver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.” Acts 3:6-7
