I have decided to squad lead!
Which means I am doing the race again. Sort of. Myself and two others will lead N Squad for the first four months of their race (January – April). We'll travel with the squad to Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Romania. We'll disciple and raise up leaders within the squad who will take over as the "raised up" squad leaders when the three of us leave. I'm excited! And here's why…
Coming off the field has been bitter sweet. I'm learning how to continue my pursuit of the Lord, how to seek the heart of my Father now that I'm living in the home I grew up in, geographically apart from B Squad.

Not only that, but squad leading is going to be hard. God is going to break and recreate me. This list of "things God used the race to teach me" will be multiplied as I step out on new territory. As I will have to trust God in ways I never have. As I come to relate more closely with the beatitudes in Matthew 5. As my world is once again wrecked by Love that is God.
I'm starting to raise support again, this time $6000. While that seems like a lot to me, it's pocket change for God. It's humbling to ask for help, to be completely dependent on the generosity of others. But it's a also a gift. It's an opportunity to experience yet again God's provision for me.
I will daily surrender my life to Christ and declare my dependence on Him. I am confident that this is where God has me for the next few months and that He WILL provide. As I've heard it said, "God's calling, God's bill."
If you have it on your heart to support me, click the "Support ME!" tab under my picture. (Note: there is a 3% and 2% processing fee for credit cards and bank drafts respectively.) If you have questions, I'd love to hear from you! Click "contact" under my picture.
Looking forward to continuing this journey with you. You're appreciated!
