Well, as you may have heard, my original route for the World Race had to be cancelled because there were simply not enough people signed up for it. However, I was given the exciting opportunity of being reassigned to a new route, and now I am thrilled to announce those eleven countries to you! Please note that I will still be leaving at the end of June. Really, nothing has changed except for the countries and my squadmates.

Albania – This was one of the countries that I was would have gone to on the first route, and I’m so excited to go to Mother Teresa’s home nation and serve the people there!

Romania – Another one that I would have been to on my original route, I am praying that I will get to work with the gypsies and eat some good food!

Malawi – This is a small country in Africa that suffers from extreme poverty. It is also supposedly very beautiful in both landscape and culture!

Zambia – This African nation is full of injustices, and I can’t wait to bring God’s love and encouragement to the people here!

Thailand – My last route would have gone here, as well. The culture is rich and steeped in Buddhism, and it is a major center for sex tourism, which fuels Human Trafficking.

Cambodia – Another country on my first route, I have really been looking forward to Cambodia. Like Thailand, it is full of Buddhism and Trafficking, and it is a place that is desperate for hope.

Malaysia – Yet another country that I would have gone to anyway, Malaysia is an Islamic nation that is ready for a major move of the Holy Spirit.

Ecuador – More than half of this South American nation is at or below the poverty line. These people need the hope of the Lord!

Peru – Home to Macchu Picchu, many people here still practice spiritualistic religion. Also, it is still recovering from years of violence and corrupt leadership and they need Jesus.

Bolivia – Another very indigenous country that has a lot of opportunity for church plants, evangelism, and justice ministry.

Chile – I’m really excited to go here! Because it stretches almost the entire length of South America, the culture and landscape is extremely diverse throughout the nation. Plus, they desperately need to see revival.

Well, those are my new countries! And yes, this means that I will be on four different continents over the course of eleven months. Yikes.

My new route is called July Route 1 and my squad is called R Squad. Please be praying protection over us as we prepare for this adventure, and pray also for doors in these nations to be opened for us and for hearts to be softened along the way so that we can reach as many people as possible!

Now, on to the fundraising part of this post. My first deadline was to have $3,500 by May 1, and by God’s amazing provision, I surpassed it by a long shot! In fact, I have also already surpassed my second goal of $7,500 due on June 12!

I really want to thank anyone who has donated thus far. We are a team. I can’t do this alone, and neither can you. Together, we will reach the whole world for Jesus.

Special thanks go out to Fluvanna Community Church. I do not know who has given through my missions account there, but if you have, please know that I am extremely grateful. The money moving from that account into my World Race account has been an enormous miracle.

But, I still have a long way to go. I am 47.4% funded. I had no clue that I would be this far along already! But this means that I still have quite a ways to go, though I do have some time.

By October 1, I need to have $11,000 in my World Race account on adventures.org. By January 1, I need to have my official goal of $16,277 in that account. That is $3,285 in the next four months, and $8,562 by New Years. That’s still a lot to raise.

(By the way, the meter at the top of this page also includes the money I am raising for domestic airfare, vaccines, and other small costs that aren’t included in my World Race account. Rest assured in knowing that every last dime is going towards this trip.)

Please prayerfully consider helping me finish this. It doesn’t have to be today, or tomorrow, but please keep these deadlines in mind. If you would like to give towards this trip, you can do so by clicking on the “Support Me!” button on the top right of this page. Every little bit helps!

What happens if I don’t meet these deadlines? Obviously, I’ll be leaving well before these dates come and go. So if October 1 or January 1 arrive and I don’t have what I need in my account, I could get sent home. Don’t let this happen! I am starting this race, and I intend on finishing it (no pun intended).

Thank you all for your prayers and financial support. I really appreciate all of it! God Bless 🙂
